In the working class Patissia neighborhood, on the buzzing Acharnon and surrounding streets, there live and work people from all around the world. Along the road the crosses the most populated parts of the city we will photograph the faces and activities that make up the colorful mosaic of daily life.
On the first day of the seminar participants will learn how to contact people and situations, creating images that express the spirit and character of the location. They will photograph along Acharnon street and on surrounding streets, with Maro Kouri at their side, offering guidance and assigning projects.
On the next day, the best photos will be presented for analysis and critique, while the instructor will show works by established photographers of the genre that will motivate participants to continue photographing. Moreover, the issue of editing will be discussed, towards the creation of a cohesive and complete photographic project.
