In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the exciting area of night photography, which, although including special technical challenges, offers enchanting images of high aesthetic value. The atmospheric harbor of Piraeus, the floating ships on the dark iridescent sea and the imposing architectural forms compose the ideal location for this workshop.
The first part of the seminar will focus on technical issues related to photoshooting in low light conditions such as focus, exposure, white balance, and the use of available equipment. Participants will then take photos at the port to familiarize themselves with the techniques taught, exploring different ways of photographing, while developing their observability and capturing the magic of lighting.
The workshop is completed the day after with the review analysis of the photographs and the discussion of the problems and difficulties that have arisen. Photographers who are already familiar with the basic functions of the camera with manual operation and have a tripod can participate.
