DAWN AT THE FISH MARKET OF KERATSINI

Instructor : Maro Kouri

Between day and night, a society of vendors, buyers and workers livens with its voices a huge space where all the fish for the fish markets of Athens are gathered. Unloading boats, carrier ships coming and going, people moving between cases bargaining for a better price, create unrest that lasts until the morning.

The dawn of Saturday, participants will be in the heart of the event and will be called to shape it into a photographic subject, capturing the intensity and atmosphere of the auction, with the instructor there to guide and advise.

The next day the images will be presented for analysis and review and the issue of editing will  be discussed. Aimed at photographers who have the necessary basic theoretical and technical knowledge.
